Dr. Ramesh Padubidri; who was conferred as a fellow with the Cosmetic Surgery Institute testifies:

It has been my privilege to be associated with The Cosmetic Surgery Institute, Bandra, Mumbai (Bombay) - a premier institute in India for total solutions in the cosmetic surgery.

After my completion of super-specialization in Plastic surgery, I was fortunate enough to get one-year fellowship in cosmetic surgery at the institute under the able stewardship of Dr. Mohan Thomas.

Dr. Thomas is a thorough gentleman and an excellent teacher in addition to being a talented surgeon with a good clinical acumen. The institute, which he has singlehandedly established, is world class and can put to shame any center. The facilities are most modern, upto date and are maintained immaculately. It is a self-sufficient center that takes care of majority of the work done by the institute. The support staffs are also very good and are a pleasure to work with.

During my fellowship with Dr. Thomas at the institute, I have been associated with him in all the cosmetic surgery procedures undertaken- both at the center and the affiliated hospitals. My involvement started with the consultation itself and continued till the last follow-up of the patient, thus giving me the opportunity to understand total patient care. The excellent academic pursuit of Dr. Thomas also helped me to keep pace with the latest in cosmetic surgery worldwide. The academician in Dr. Thomas makes him globe trott to attend and speak in CMEs and conferences and constantly endeavor for papers to be published in journals.

All in all, it was a worthy experience for me and I am greatly indebted to Dr. Thomas for the glorious opportunity given to me.

I have worked in the cosmetic surgery institute after completing 3 years residency program in plastic surgery at the KEM hospital, Mumbai (Bombay). It is an excellent institute in terms of patient care. The clinic and operation theatre are of international standard with highest level of cleanliness. I could be involved in a wide array of cosmetic surgery cases in a short span of time. Dr.Thomas is an excellent teacher and a pioneer in cosmetic surgery training in India. Sir, I will always cherish and put to good use the wealth of experience I have gained at CSI. The one year that, I have spent have taught me more than cosmetic surgery and will rank amongst the most memorable and defining moments of my life.
